Love the diagnostic approach symptom to morphology to body site. Makes you think systematically instead of panicking. Cross-references between differential tables and detailed chapters are smooth. Only wish there was more on dermoscopy. Still 5 stars for value.

Best derm resource I’ve found. Bullet point format means you actually read it instead of giving up. Photos are from DermNet NZ so you know they’re legit. Terminology chapter at the start is clutch for OSCE prep. Passed my derm rotation with this.

The updated 2nd edition is even better. Treatment section at the back is practical — topical steroid potencies, monitoring guidelines for methotrexate, when to refer. Exactly what primary care needs. No fluff, just useful info.

Have both editions and the update is noticeable. More photos, better organization. The ‘who gets it, what causes it, how to treat it, how long it takes’ format for each condition is perfect for quick reference. My clinic copy is already well-worn.
